thanksgiving brings...

CHRISTMAS!!!
I love Christmas. I love it I love it I love it.

Today was the almost perfect day. Woke up at my leisure, didn't put on make up, ate amazazing food--blueberry jello aka my favorite--finished it off with some quality sister time(+Stan), and the decorating of the tree.

The front room is left basically alone until Christmas, in which we bring in the tree, the presents, the music, and the people.

The almost part comes in when I got a headache from the sugar and gluten i stuffed in my body today.. Dang sug.

Love Christmas. Love Christmas music. Love Christmas spirit. Amen.

My niece Avery (Collin and Elizabeths) while we were on family vacay in Newport. She's basically the coolest. "Come again Ave?"

november brings christmas cheer :)

It is official.

KOSY 106.5 is playing CHRISTMAS music.

And, my neighbors have put up their lights.

'Tis a beautiful thing Christmas.

Not only is everyone happy--until about two weeks before the 25th--but the holiday has so much meaning behind it.

I love Christmas, yes I do, I love Christmas, how about you?!

october brings school

I started school at Taylor Andrews Academy of Hair Design the last few weeks of September.  From left to right: Todd Herzog, Cambri Christensen, me, Emily Hawkes.  Rae Anderson completes our liddy group at school.

Me love school cus those kids.  When I wanted to go to hair school I was skeptical because I typically get along better with males than females, but found that Emily, Cambri, Rae and Todd are all too cool for drama. Halle-freaking-lujah.   It is so nice going to school with a bunch of hyper active, giggly girls and escaping to our little section with my buddies away from their high-pitched laughs and whiny "Dallaaaaaaaaaaaaas"es.

august takes the best.

Stupid BYU Hawaii.

This time, being more prepared, my social life isn't suffering as much...

I just want to express my gratitude and love for this lady.

Julia:
A strength to me during hard times.  Always the voice of reason when I'm pissy.  Knows exactly how to cheer me up.  Keeps me positive.  Deals with so much shi and can still stand strong for me.  Understands me on a level deeper than anyone knows.  Fights with me like a married couple, yet we've only had one real fight--it lasted probably 20 minutes.  Has the exact same taste as me with tons of stuff except for the things that would ruin our friendship aka boys.  Is one of the most beautiful people I've ever known.  Is a joy to be around.  Lifts everyone up rather than putting us down.  Is hardly critical, if she is, it's in a joking sarcastic way.  Reminds me who I am and want to be.  Is the bestest friend I could ask for.

Missing you always, and love you to death and eternity.

George.

P.S. I'm glad I got to teach you how to do make-up before you left ;)

first of the season

Ooh ya look at that pasty white-ness!

We brought the blessed boat out of winter storage last Friday.  After a couple of tries it finally turned on, with the help from a neighbors battery charger thingy,  and we were off!

We started toward the lake when the blasted beep came on and wouldn't stop.
Long story short, we eventually got
out and on the wakeboards mmm:)
Although Casey rocked it, I definitely need to practice more.  After a board switch and three face-plants, I called it good.

Gracias papi, the boat is my favorite!

august brings: college?

This year was my final year in high school.

I'm still not sure how I feel about that...

Interesting, the year I am way anti-social ended up being the year I had the mOsT fUn.

It was chock-full of activities ranging from:

songleading competition and nationals(what a bust bahaha!),
to state champions--AGAIN--

and date dances to boyfriend? weird...

P.S. A big SORRY! to all of those who have been trying to get some 411 out of my blog...

I solemnly swear to try harder.

finality.

Timpview's Dance Company Concert of Spring 2008 was my final concert in high school... probably my last dance concert ever.

I've been dancing on and off since I was 3 so you can imagine how much dance means to me.

Dance has been:
  1. My best friend.
  2. My form of expression.
  3. My exercise.
  4. My identity.
  5. My THERAPY.

Not only has dance done this for me, but dance company has been a ginormous blessing.

The only people I will miss from school are a part of that company.  I have laughed, cried, gotten mad at, sung songs with, acted foolish with, been myself  with each and every one of them!  Usually D Co. (dance company) has major clique issues, but this year there is none of it.  We are all best friends which made the end of concert THAT MUCH HARDER!

Anywho... Just wanted to make sure all my d co girlies know I love them and will visit often.

P.S.  Thank you sooo much mom and dad!   Paying for those dance lessons, driving me everywhere, it seriously changed my life :)

The best was.. Spring Break!

Oh the sweet sounds of the Vegas strip...

It is a really great thing that we stayed in Henderson.

Seneca Miner, Kelsey Hannon, Hilary Fullmer, Julia O'Connor and myself all went to Las Vegas for our Spring Break.

I know, Spring Break in Vegas sounds drity but we are all good people and had a freaking amazing time.

For those of you who are wondering, YES that is The Beatles LOVE stage behind us.

The Beatles LOVE show is a Cirque de Soleil extravaganza to The Beatles jams.  It had a plethora of props, moves and hotties. The one next to us, Shane. Shane is our British-Mormon friend that lets us take pictures by the stage.

The whole experience was kind of emotional for all.  The program started out by reminding us of how infuential The Beatles were, are, and will be.  We all cried at some point; my tears started flowing as "Hey Jude" began with a lonely litte boy onstage, ending only when the girls all screamed "PICTURES!!" after the performers had long left the stage...

The Beatles LOVE show 5th row tickets:
$170
Rockin Ralph Lauren dress for Senior Ball:
$161.43
Gas--split four ways--from Utah to Vegas:'
$40
"Oh my gosh!  REESIES!":
Priceless :)
